Dress Code

· BOYS SCHOOL CLOTHING

Pants: Solid color in khaki or navy blue dress pants, plain or pleated front with belt loops worn with a black, brown or navy blue belt.

Shorts: Solid color in khaki or navy blue walking shorts from *Schoolbelles. All shorts must be purchased from Schoolbelles to assure proper length. Walking shorts worn with a black, brown or navy blue belt. Walking shorts may be worn only during the warm weather months.

Shirts: Solid color in white, dark green or light or navy blue polo shirts or button-down dress shirts that are long or short-sleeved. Shirts may have a dark green or navy blue pin stripe on the collar. All shirts are to be tucked into pants. **T.C.A. insignia is welcome.

Ties: Required to have a plaid tie #121 from Schoolbelles. Plaid tie #121 is required for special school activities. Ties in plaid #121, solid dark green or solid navy blue are welcome any school day.

Sweaters: Solid color in white, dark green or light or navy blue pullover or cardigan, vest or long sleeved. Also, the approved dark green pullover sweatshirt with the T.C.A. insignia is acceptable. Sweaters may be worn only with a white polo or white turtleneck underneath. A turtleneck shirt can ONLY be worn underneath a sweater during the cold weather months. Turtlenecks are not to be worn alone.

Shoes/socks: Brown, black, or cordovan leather shoes worn with brown, black, navy blue or khaki-tan socks in crew or knee high length.

Sports Coats: Solid navy blue is acceptable. Not required, but welcomed.

GIRLS SCHOOL CLOTHING

Pants: Solid color in khaki or navy blue dress pants, plain or pleated front with belt loops worn with a black, brown or navy blue belt.

Shirts: Solid color in white, dark green or light or navy blue polo shirts or button-down blouses

Blouses: That are long or short-sleeved. Shirts may have a dark green or navy blue pin stripe on the collar. All shirts/blouses are to be tucked into pants, skirts or jumpers. **T.C.A. insignia is welcome.

Skirts: Required to have a plaid #121 skirt or jumper from Schoolbelles for special school activities. Plaid #121 skirt from Schoolbelles in pleated, kilt, 2 kick pleat and split skirt styles. Plaid #121 jumper from Schoolbelles in drop waist or pleated styles. Plaid skirts and all jumpers (plaid, khaki or navy blue) are to be worn with a white blouse, long or short sleeved. A cardigan sweater in white, dark green or light blue may also be worn.

Solid color in khaki or navy blue skirts, jumpers or full skirts with sewn in shorts (meaning skirting all around hidden shorts). Skirt and jumper length no shorter than three inches from the floor at kneeling position. Khaki and navy blue skirts may be worn with shirts, blouses or sweaters as listed in the dress code.

Sweaters: Solid color in white, dark green or light blue pullover or cardigan, vest or long sleeved. Also, the approved dark green pullover sweatshirt with T.C.A. insignia. Sweaters may be worn only with a white polo or white turtleneck underneath. A turtleneck shirt can ONLY be worn underneath a sweater during the cold weather months. Shoes/socks: Brown, black, navy blue or white leather shoes. Brown, black, navy blue, white, or khaki-tan socks (crew or knee high length) worn with dress pants. Tights or socks (crew or knee high length) in navy blue or white worn with skirts or jumpers.

Hair Accessories: Solid color white, black, brown, dark green, navy blue, light blue, gold, silver or plaid #121 from Schoolbelles. Hair accessories are to be conservative and modest.

Make-Up: Make-up is not necessary, but may be worn in a conservative and modest fashion.

FIELD TRIP UNIFORM - Dress requirement will be announced with activity

Boys Dress Uniform: Navy blue dress pants with a white dress shirt and plaid #121 tie. Belt, socks and shoes according to school dress code.

Boys Casual Uniform: Navy blue dress pants, navy blue walking shorts from Schoolbelles or "classic" style jeans (when announced) worn with a dark green polo shirt or the approved dark green pullover sweatshirt with the T.C.A. insignia. This sweatshirt may be worn with a white polo shirt or white turtleneck shirt underneath. Belts and socks according to school dress code. Tennis shoes mostly white or mostly black.

Girls Dress Uniform: Plaid #121 jumper or plaid #121 skirt from Schoolbelles worn with a white blouse and dress shoes according to school dress code. Tights or knee highs in navy blue.

Girls Casual Uniform: Navy blue dress pants, navy blue walking shorts from Schoolbelles or "classic" style jeans (when announced) worn with a dark green polo shirt or the approved dark green pull over sweatshirt with the T.C.A. insignia. This sweatshirt may be worn with a white polo shirt or white turtleneck shirt underneath. Belts and socks according to school dress code. Tennis shoes mostly white or mostly black.

GYM CLOTHES FOR BOYS AND GIRLS

Boys and girls should wear active, loose fitting clothing for gym as follows:

Basketball shorts or shorts at skirt length in navy blue or active wear pants in navy blue with or without side leg stripes. Tee shirts in solid gray (with or without navy blue trim). Tennis shoes in mostly white or mostly black worn with socks. No jewelry worn during gym.

CLARIFICATIONS

1. All shirts, blouses and pants must be in solid colors (except a dark green or navy blue pin stripe on the collar and Trinity Christian Academy insignia) this excludes stripes, flowers, decorative patches off color collars, etc...

2. No visible designer logos on shirts.

3. No cargo pants, corduroy, denim, skorts and hats.

4. No dyed or bleached hair. Hair may not draw attention.

5. No visible tattoos.

6. No open toe or open heel shoes. No boots, except outdoor winter boots to be worn outdoors only.

7. Jewelry and watches are to be conservative and modest fashion.

8. Dress shoes are to be worn in the classroom. Students may change into tennis shoes for gym and recess.
