Our Mission

To assist parents in their endeavor to produce:

  • Graduating students who have a desire to carry out God's vocation for their lives heartily for His glory and not man's.  (Col. 3:23, I Cor. 10:31, I Cor. 1:30-31, Isaiah 43:7)
  • Graduating students who know the tenets of their faith, understand why the believe what they believe and are able to defend and share their faith with others.
    (2 Tim. 1:12, I Pet. 3:15, Col. 4:6, Prov. 22:20-21, 15:28)
  • Graduating students that understand that every aspect of creation, knowledge and their lives is tied to God, the Creator, Sustainer, and Controller of the Universe.
    (Job 38-39, Rom. 11:36, Isaiah 43:7, Ps. 33:6-11, 19:1)
  • Create an environment that is conductive to attaining these goals through Biblical patterns and methods of discipline.

The education your child will receive at Trinity Christian Academy is a classical education.

In the Grammar School we emphasize the accumulation of the basic facts of subject.

In the Dialectic School we seek to mold the child's natural questioning tendency into the ability to sift information accurately through courses in formal logic.

Disciplined self expression is the goal of the Rhetoric School.  A student is trained to compare and contrast the information to which they are exposed and to formulate, through appropriate expression, their own thoughtful response.

The three parts of the Trivium-Grammar, Dialectic, and Rhetoric, correspond well to the natural educational bent of the children at the various ages.  Children in the Grammar school love to memorize through the use of chanting and other creative activities.  As students mature, they become more argumentative.  In Trinity's Dialectic School we seek to harness this natural tendency and provide students with the tools to think through the information they have and come to conclusions based on truth.

The dramatic nature of the older teens is channeled toward disciplined expression in the Rhetoric School.  The Rhetoric School is that arm of the Trinity experience where students are trained to present the conclusions they have come to based on interaction with the information available plus the formal training in logic.  The culminating purpose is to produce a person who is equipped with the motivation and tools to be a life long learner.
