Who We Are

·        Trinity Christian Academy was founded by a small group of parents who were looking for an education for their children and others’ children that was Christ centered.  They felt the greater Norwalk area was in need of non-denominational Christian education, and so it opened in September 2003 with nine students.  Since then, the school has grown to represent 15 local churches between the students and teachers.  We have hosted parties, banquets and fellowship times at many of these churches.  We have embraced each other as a school family and are determined to continue with the philosophy of being non-denominational.  We will continue to teach the Bible, without specific denominational slants.  If further interpretation is warranted, it is up to the parents.  Trinity is committed to providing a quality education serving K-8.  K-6th will follow the true classical model with 7th and 8th grades incorporating additional subjects to allow for the transition to another school setting.  The student to teacher ratio at Trinity is 15 students per teacher.

Trinity works hard at providing a Christian Multi-Denominational education.  We choose curriculum and memorizations that do not challenge one denomination’s beliefs  over another's.  We very firmly believe that teaching in such a way that every subject is Christ centered provides a firm foundation that parents can individualize based on their specific denominational characteristics.  We incorporate a wide variety of Christian music styles, theatrical choices and Bible translations for reading and memorization.  We teach to promote the love of learning in our students and inspire them to glorify God.

·    We take partnering with you to educate your child very seriously and work to make school more than just reading, writing and arithmetic.  In our small size classes, students develop relationships with teachers who love them in the Lord.  These relationships enhance the educational  process through individual attention and teaching to each students natural bend.   Making the right choice for your child’s education is a very difficult one.  You entrust your child to someone else for a large part of the day and you must feel comfortable with the situation.  We invite you to spend some time visiting the school to ensure this is the right educational environment for your child.
